A roundup of what I've been up to this week, or thereabouts.
Greetings from Tokyo, my favorite city on the globe and a place that I am hugely excited to be back. Have only been here for a day but, after coming here annually for over a decade and then not coming for three years, it's really interesting to see the little changes. Many places that still relied on cash now finally take credit cards. The ubiquitous jar of chopsticks at restaurants has been replaced by individually wrapped ones. And, of course, there's hand sanitizer everywhere, often rigged up with foot pumps.

Volvo C40 Recharge Review
Latest review, my take on Volvo's crop-topped crossover, the C40 Recharge. Volvo didn't need to make this thing so quick nor engaging, but I'm glad they did. It's a great drive hampered by one thing: Android Automotive.
How Mercedes-Benz is Bolstering EV Safety
Over at Robb Report, my findings after a day spent at the Mercedes-Benz massive testing facility in Germany. It was impressive to not only learn what the brand's latest EVs like the EQS and EQE can do to avoid crashes, but perhaps even more importantly what they do after a crash to keep both occupants and first-responders safe.
